Slots at Shokker
Reviewed: August 2026
Slots are the largest category at Shokker and by a wide margin the fastest. This page does not go title by title — individual games have their own pages under games. What it covers is the two things every slot shares: how quickly a budget disappears, and how a slot behaves while a bonus is being cleared.
Turnover, not stake, is the number to watch
A slot round lasts a couple of seconds and the next one starts immediately. In practice a comfortable player completes something like ten rounds a minute, which is several hundred in an hour. That is the defining property of the category: not the size of the stake but the count of rounds. Fifty cents feels trivial until three hundred rounds have turned it into a hundred and fifty euro of turnover, and turnover is exactly what the house edge is applied to.
So the useful arithmetic is stake multiplied by rounds, never stake alone. On a ten euro session budget, a ten cent stake buys roughly a hundred rounds and ten minutes; a one euro stake buys ten rounds and a few seconds. Identical money, two entirely different evenings — and the choice between them is made in the stake selector, not later.
Volatility, translated into minutes
Volatility describes how wins distribute across time. A low-volatility slot pays often and small, which stretches the same budget considerably. A high-volatility one stays quiet and then pays in a lump, so the same budget can vanish several times faster without the mathematics being any worse. Both figures — volatility and the theoretical return — sit in the game's info panel, and they are worth reading before the first round rather than after the last.
Wagering: slots carry the full weight
Bonus terms state how much of a stake each category contributes towards a wagering requirement. Slots normally contribute in full, which makes them the fastest route through a requirement. A hundred euro bonus with a thirty times condition means three thousand euro of turnover, and on slots that figure advances round by round at its full value.
Two things break this. The first is the maximum stake permitted while wagering: exceeding it can void the entire bonus under the terms, even accidentally. The second is excluded titles, whose turnover simply does not count. Both are covered under wagering requirements and worth reading before a bonus is accepted rather than after a withdrawal is refused.
| Property | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Round length | Seconds — budgets drain quickly even at small stakes |
| Minimum stake | Cents, so session length is easy to tune |
| Wagering contribution | Usually full weight |
| Mobile data use | Low, graphics load once |
Demo mode as a stopwatch
Most slots open in demo mode on play money, and that has one concrete use beyond curiosity: it measures pace at no cost. Run a title for five minutes and count the rounds, and the session arithmetic above stops being theoretical. Demo play predicts no outcomes and pays no winnings — it shows rhythm, which is the part that decides how long ten euro survives.
Where to go next
Mechanics, features and stake ranges for individual titles live on their own pages, for instance Frenzy Clusters and Money Maker, with the full list under games. Slower categories with different stake floors and very different wagering weights are table games and live casino.
